February 12th, 2010 | No Comments »Today at uni we were involved in a workshop whereby in groups we had to come up with methods of mark making without using the standard approach of doing it by hand. After lots of splattered paint in gloves and plants bleeding we came up with the simple approach of the door and the motion of it opening to draw. This was caused by the non-stop action of people walking through it. We attached different methods of mark making to the door and let it happen. We call the final piece “The Circle of Life”, cheesy as fuck. Also it’s a lot bigger than the photos make out.

A Clockwork Orange
February 8th, 2010 | No Comments »I said I wasn’t happy with the previous post, and that’s cause it was proper shit. Really rushed and no thought. I was determined to do it justice as it’s one of my favourite films and I admire Kubrick greatly. Quite chuffed with the outcome.
