I’ve just returned from Offset Festival 2012, a world of inspiration and legendary designers in Dublin. My favourite presentations included Sagmeister, Paula Scher, Ash from United Visual Artists, Michael Bierut, Erik Kessels, Jessica Hische – in fact pretty much all of them! From it I’ve learned a crazy amount whilst sitting in awe including:

- Go with your gut feeling
- Failure is not always bad, without failure you can’t learn.
- Keep interested in what you do and take risks.
- Design Design Design
- Michael Bierut is a “Typographic Slut”

It was a fantastic weekend and I feel like my head is full of inspiration and creative energy ready to explode onto the world. It was also amazing to meet the legends such as Sagmeister, Bierut and Kessels at the afterparty.

Bring on 2013!
