Thor Ragnarok

For the Empire issue featuring Marvel film Thor Ragnarok I designed the feature as well as working with the Creative Director to help design the cover. I created a custom handwritten type for some of the wording and reworked a house font into a more retro style. For the feature opener I designed and created an ’80s headline treatment riffing off the style. I then animated this for our digital edition of the magazine. I also animated the cover for the digital edition. These got shared and liked by the director Taika Waititi and star Mark Ruffalo.
